Why agencies are asking about this now
Web accessibility lawsuits in the US keep climbing, and they don't target large companies. When a small e-commerce client gets a demand letter, the first call goes to the agency that built the site.

About Plumbline
Plumbline started with a measurement. In 2025, federal courts in the United States received more than 3,100 web accessibility lawsuits, most of them against e-commerce businesses with under $25M in revenue. We scanned the portfolios of the agencies that build those stores and found that two out of three client sites carried barriers a screen-reader user could not get past. The agencies had built good work; nobody had checked it against WCAG.
Plumbline exists to do that check, and to let agencies deliver it under their own name. Every review combines an automated scan with a manual walkthrough by a person, because the failures that matter — a checkout that can't be completed with a keyboard, a form whose errors are never announced — don't show up in software.
Plumbline is founded and run by Agustín Rodríguez, Software Engineer and Industrial Engineer, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
